Couplets



STRONG

A couplet is a verse of two lines, usually having the same meter/timing and often forming a complete thought.

The couplets on the left and right were authored by Jeung, Hung Sing(aka Jeung,Yim). In a poetic sense, it illustrates the vitality and strength of Choy-Lee-Fut.

It is read both across and down.The top 2 both Left and Right put together produce the word HERO or HEROIC it can be said in Cantonese "YING-HUNG"....

Translation of the left row down:
The strong fist releases out like a tiger rearing its head.

Tranlation of the right row down:
The graceful staff flies above like a dragon whipping its tail.
